No legal entity has been registered yet. This privacy policy describes the data handling practices of the Hopcheck service as it currently operates. A contact route and formal legal notice will be added when a legal entity is established.

What data is processed

When you submit a URL to Hopcheck, the following data is processed:

The URL you submit — This is the link you want to trace. It is sent to the Hopcheck server, which fetches it to follow the redirect chain.
Redirect chain data — The server records each URL, status code, and response header encountered along the redirect chain for the purpose of returning the results to you.

No account or personal data

Hopcheck does not require an account, registration, or any personal information to use the service. No email addresses, names, or payment details are collected.

Data retention

Hopcheck does not log, store, or persist submitted URLs or redirect chain data beyond the duration of the individual request. The results are returned to your browser and are not retained on the server. No database or persistent storage is used.

Third-party access

Hopcheck fetches URLs you submit in order to follow their redirect chains. This means the URL you submit is requested from the server that hosts the destination (and any intermediaries in the chain). The result of that request is returned to you. Hopcheck does not forward submitted URLs or result data to any third party for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.

Cookies

Hopcheck does not set any cookies or use any client-side tracking technologies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. No separate notification will be sent.
